2020 Eleanor of Aquitaine
A blend of 58% Yorkville Semillon and 42% Yorkville Sauvignon Blanc, Eleanor of Aquitaine celebrates and is inspired by the original "Bordeaux Blanc" blends from France. The wine is an elegant balance of the smoothness of the Semillon and the citrus/acid characteristics of the Sauvignon Blanc. The result is a wine with complex character and beautiful, rich flavors.
The prominence and worldwide success of the Bordeaux region in France and the varietals from the region are attributed by many to Eleanor, born there in 1122, who was Queen of France and England at different times in her life.
